Temple New Jerusalem is fully committed to the youth. At TNJ, our Rabbi and Rebbitzen take pride in the age-old Jewish tradition to teach the children, and to raise up a new generation that is full of understanding, vision, and commitment to serve the Kingdom of God.
It is important to us that we keep it fun! Our youth spend a full week in school. We aren't going to send them back to school on Friday night. But we do make sure they get inspired, and that they learn something new each week.
The youth at TNJ have a great time learning both the Old and New Covenant in fun, creative and innovative ways. The understanding of Biblical feasts & holidays such as Passover, Hanukkah, Purim, etc. is part of what we do. Godly wisdom is imparted through group discussion, skits, song and dance, arts and crafts and scriptural studies as well. We are continuing to develop a closer relationship with Yeshua (Jesus) among our youth.
Depending on the numbers in attendance, our youth program is typically divided into three basic age groups:
Temple Tots for Infants-5
Temple Kids for ages 6-11
Temple Teenz, an active middle and high school youth group for ages 12-17
COLLEGE AND CAREER AGE:
Our TNJ College and Career Group is for ages 18 and up and meet on a regular basis through social events as they continue to get into the Scriptures and grow in the Lord.
Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the Kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the Kingdom of god like a child shall not enter it - Mark 10:14-16
